Apps that use Apple Pay must have a privacy policy that you can view which governs the use of your data. Just add your credit or debit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone and you’re ready to go. Any information retained by Apple Pay is anonymous, and the nature of your purchase cannot be identified. When you're paying in an app, the retailer will only receive information they need to fulfil your order. Your card number and identity aren't shared with the retailer, and your actual card numbers aren't stored on your device or on Apple servers. Your Apple Watch is protected by the passcode that only you know, and your passcode is required every time you put on your Apple Watch.
Every transaction on your iPhone or iPad requires you to authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
