The musical bits, the comic-like visual style and Paris Hilton will ensure this movie gets lower ratings than it deserves, I think. You could probably get away with running it alongside horror movies, though, since there's a lot here that a horror fan would appreciate. There are elements of horror and it certainly has a dark mood to it, but I wouldn't call it a horror movie.
It's a dystopian futuristic sci-fi musical if I had to apply any kind of title to it. In fact I'm not sure what it is, besides misunderstood (at least according to its generally low ratings). I love Repo but I don't really consider it horror.
